Custom Gel Builder (1kg)

I had never used Blanks before and wasn't sure about how to order exactly what I wanted. So I wrote customer service, told them what the goal was and asked for help. Not only did they respond, it was a human and one who is obviously an athlete that uses the product too. They were super helpful, guided me in ordering exactly what I needed and, best of all were there when it arrived. That mattered because it was still confusing. They followed up with perfect instructions and the product has been perfect. I still have to dial in the right strength and viscosity for me but it was pretty good on first try. As a company they won me over with that personal service that made me feel like I mattered on a human level. The company genuinely wants you to get the most out of the product. Finally, to top it off, I received a hand written thank you note from them! If I could give an extra star just for that I would.

I love how customizable these gel mixes are! I an able to prep one soft flask for each hour of my long runs and races, which makes it easy to measure/intake the appropriate amount and easy to carry in my shorts or belt.

A really solid gel option. A ton of flavors to choose from and the customizable feature is amazing. I will say that with 3 and especially 4 scoops of the mix to get to 75-100g is a tight fit for this small flask. Have to do a manual mix with a stick to avoid any clumping. But this allows me to reduce my gels from 4-6 down to 2 which is huge

Second order of the custom gel. Flavor is good (lemon lime and watermelon). For this order changed the viscosity of it made it a little bit looser and man it's great!

Being able to choose the viscosity has been such a game changer. I am able to fill a 1L bottle with 600g of carbs now with a viscosity 1 gel.

Spirit of the Seagull is cracked. My go to is Spirit of The seagull Lite, with the least viscosity so I can drink it in a water bottle during hyrox workouts, rather than having a gel flask.

I love blank gel mix. The flexibility of making a custom mix is awesome. The verity of flavors is endless. My favorite is you can adjust the strength of the flavor and viscosity is the best

Reviewing this after my second purchase of hydrogel (one standard, and one custom), and mannn, I’m already about ready to place a third order. Bang for the buck is phenomenal, flavor and consistency are better than any other gel in my opinion, and the ability to customize caffeine, sodium, flavor, etc. is just icing on the cake. It goes down easy, gives no flavor fatigue or gastric distress, and it just plain works. Blank’s is really onto something here, and I’m a fan. Love supporting an athlete-run and athlete-focused team, but I’m also just really into this hydrogel. It’s my new go-to for marathon and gravel racing, and I have a feeling that it’ll be my pick for quite a while.
