Bicarb, The Blank's Way: 
Our Bicarb Mix products pairs a fast-mixing, dextrose-based hydrogel with 6mm slow-release bicarbonate pellets. Part A, the Bicarb Gel is a modified version of our revolutionary hydrogel mix, designed to protect the Bicarb Pellets from the acidity of the stomach. Part B, the Bicarb Pellets are optimized to reduce GI distress, without compromising performance. Our larger bicarb pellets have a preferred surface area to volume ratio in order to slow release the bicarb once they reach the small intestine, instead of reacting quickly in the acidic stomach. 

Why bicarbonate?
High-intensity efforts flood your muscles with acid. Sodium bicarbonate helps buffer that acidity so you can hold power and pace longer. It’s one of the most studied ergogenic aids in sport, especially for hard intervals, time trials, hill climbs, and race surges.
